not really... i wanna get a fishing hook tatoo on my right arm. i have pics up of the work i already have on it. two main ideas are two fishing hooks skull and x bones style, or a hook with a skull as the eye. any help recived in helping me brain storm will be greatly appreciated.......pics wll be posted after compleation

This was my first legal adult tattoo. Its probably 10 years old now. I used fishing poles instead of bones. And I've worn a fitted old english D hat for 20 years, so when the artist asked if I wanted anything on the bandana, I pointed to his hat(Allot people in Detroit wear the D. Usually its on their forearm and looks like trash. I went subtle. Pic was in the mirror and I'm covered in drywall dust. Sorry.
I plan on getting a salmon trolling spoon w/hooks on my foot. I fish in sandals all summer.

Sounds like a cool idea. I really like fishing tattoos. Surprise surprise. I have one of my spearguns incorporated into my newschool arm and several hooks.
I like your idea of the two hooks and skull. You can see similar designs from Salty Bones, Salt Life, Palegic, Amphibious Outfitters etc. |

It might not fit the style, but you if you have a thing for Hawaii and fishing lore, you could go with Maui's hook.

When I was young, fishing off a harbor rockwall, I hooked my younger cousin in his chin. Past the barb. Had to go to the ER. He was probably 6 or 7. I was maybe 12 or 13. He still brings it up..

hahaa same thing happened to my brother. He got a buzzbait stuck on a stump. He yanked, the stump broke loose, and the hook went into his shin.
All they do is tie a piece of line onto both sides and rip it out. |
