I got my tattoo 3 weeks ago on my forearm. Its a half sleeve, and im wondering if this is normal after 3 weeks? I only gave the shading and outline done, in black and grey and Im. Doing exactly what my artist told me too. Im using none stop scented lotion. The lines look cracked and some of the shading too.some of the lines you can still feel that are raises up. I haven't let it dry out. I've kept it clean. And my other tattoos healed alot faster and didn't do this. Am I do something wrong? We can't tell you too much without a photo, and seeing as the link above still is not working for me at least there's not much to say.
Everyone heals differently, different parts of the body heal differently. The only thing I could possibly figure is if you're putting too much stuff on it, I'd tend to lean towards the less is more side unless you have unusually dry skin. But otherwise, unless you're leaking dubious looking liquids there's nothing much to do but sit and let your body figure it out.

Doesn't look too out of the ordinary to me, long as you're keeping up with the lotion it should be fine, just might be going through a phase.
