| Does anyone here have any tv show tattoos here? I'm thinking about getting a Mad Men tattoo (Draper, smoking.) My friends think I'm crazy, but I was just curious to see if I was the only one! |

I'm all for TV tattoos, but not sure about Mad Men. Just not sure it will have any relevence 5 or 10 years from now. You might also outgrow it and be left thinking, "why the fuck did I get this again?"
But it's just my personal opinion. First of all, I think the show was/is incredibly over-hyped. It's good, but a bit slow and boring. I think they blew their wad in the first 3 seasons and even then it was painfully slow at times.
Secondly, getting a tattoo of anything hip and trendy at the moment can be a bad idea. |

| Hell, dapper Gentlemen (and Lady) tattoos are all the rage right now. They're even dressing up every animal on early as dapper Gentlemen. If it got done in a neo-traditional way it could be really sweet. |

agreed........you could do the dapper thing around alot of different tattoos and make it look great, and be timeless....
but that is more of a style, than an actual tv show, although it probably has a lot to do with Boardwalk Empire.........

Could you point me in the direction where I could see some of these dapper Gentlemen tattoos? Love retro, vintage style stuff so I'd like to see some of these. |
