I think the orginal question depends on the subject matter & how you wear them? 
If you got Fuck Off on your knuckles then yes it will never be accepted in everyday stuff?? If you feel your tattoo's make you all powerful and dead hard - then yes people might not find the whole package acceptable??
But for most in the world we live in - no one really cares?? There can always be the " career" issue - and never forget Mr/Mrs Arsehole who cant stand anything varying from the norm - but on the whole its how people wear them - and if YOUR aggressive about it - then expect the same response! ................. for me generally people dont take any notice - but then neither do I!! .............. I dont make an issue about being tattooed - its personal - just for me  |

My bro had a wedding this weekend. I hit the hot tub the night before with some family, mostly people who have not seen my tattoos.
Their basic reaction: "Meh who cares?"
