In the Netherlands the government finally made a law about minimum age for tattoos.
From now on it's LEGAL to tattoo someone from age 12 as long as their parents agree !!!
So all scratchers got the green light now!
How about that???
Government sucks |

Anyone with an idiot parent can now sign a piece of paper allowing their child to get tattooed. NICE _________________

I fail to see how scratchers NOW have the green light. By definition a scratcher is someone who workes without certification or government regulation. _________________ Scientists have known that what grows on a gamer's face is different from that of a man's.

| Any parent that would allow their kid to get work done at 12 in a shop would allow them to get it done by someone in their kitchen anyway. At least this way they might get a good piece. |

I don't care if they get tattooed by Deano Cook or Corey Codney, a 12 year old shouldn't get tattooed, PERIOD! The quality of the work isn't the issue, the age is. _________________

Because we used to lie and say it was illegal for us to do it.
Now they know it's not and look harder for someone who will.
Our law says they can't enter someones livingroom or shed uninvited so those scratchers are the only ones who can go on like this for years untill something really bad happens. And for those in shops who do it, it's legal now So instead of a law preventing this OUR government makes a law that says it's ok. That just worries me somehow. |

I am just of the opinion that laws should be made to protect rights, not take them away.
And besides, any artist can refuse any customer for any reason. And before this law there was no minimum at all. If people refused them before they will still refuse them now. |

Whatever!
Guess I'm the only one thinking it's weird to not be able to drink alcohol, drive a car but can permanently mark your body at age 12. |
