Every state is different...
Philly SUCKS for customers because of there CRAZY rules and prices.
I like states like Florida and a lot of others. They are priced by the hour. It doesn't matter what or where... 75-200 dollars an hour depending on the artist. Most artists cost 100 dollars an hour. The better the artist or more well known he/she is, the more money. The best in the world cost 200 bucks an hour. A good artist is 100. I go to Mark down here in Florida and he charges me 125.
If you live in one of those fucked up states, I'm sorry. lol They actually charge extra for different places on the body, certain colors, etc...

In rural PA, it's very much a studio-by-studio situation. There are about 5 studios within 2 hours of each other, and prices range. I know that the Totem studios are normally the highest priced (due to the fact that they were built off of the reputation of Buffalo Bill), and it's goes from there. My mentor's studio is actually probably the cheapest, since it's located in a small city and, to quote him "I can't make big money here. A tattoo that would go for 250 in pittsburgh will get 125-150 here. No one here wants to pay a lot of money for their tattoos, so we have to deal with that. Eh, it still beats working in a factory for 40 hours a week. At least I love my job." I know for his multi-sitting pieces, he normally charges 75 bucks an hour, which is at least 25 lower than any other studio around. Like I said, studio-by-studio basis
