hey guys, im going for my first tattoo in a couple of weeks, and i am planning on getting three chinese symbols on my back either vertically on the right side of my back or vertically in the middle of my back. will this make a difference? and i am also wondering about how much you think it would cost if they are all about 2x2 inches and about a half an inch apart. would you think i should do them one at a time or is it okay to get them all at once? sorry i've got a lot of questions to answer, im a first-timer.

April baby.... Usually protocal(assuming you're over 18, otherwise you wouldnt be getting a tattoo) is that you post a picture of picture of yourself with the proposed areas exposed, and them the people here can give you a better opinion. USUALLY what ladies end up doing is just taking the photos of themselves completely naked, so those experianced folks here can make some other suggestions as to placement well. So, grab a dicital camera and shoot some photos, and I'm sure you'll get many informative responses.
To answer your other questions. you should be able to get them all done at once. Anything you can do in under 2 - 3 hours is easy for a first timer. Cost wise. Could vary from $100 - ??? Do you want them just solid black, some texture, new school, colors?? $100 - $125 per hour is pretty common right now. |

| thanks for the help. i was planning on getting them either black or brown, kinda like a henna coloring, and i am pretty sure i am not going to be posting any nude pictures of myself, thank you! but i mean, would it make a difference if i were getting them down the middle of my back (because my spine is there) or down the side of my back (a slightly more meaty area)? and is it going to make a difference whether i get them black or brown? and do most tattoo parlors charge by hour? |
