| it is now early tuesday morning...i got my tattoo on friday...i just went to wipe off extra lotion off of it and i think i wiped it to hard beause like a thin layer of skin it looked like came off ......i'm really afraid i just messed up my first tattoo reallly really bad...someone please tell me if i did so i can start saving to fix it.... |

Your concern sounds a lot like mine in the "Im an idiot but..." post, only I was worried because I got sunburnt on top of my tattoo the day before it happened.
The next day I went to rub lotion on and some skin rubbed off that had the color of my tattoo in it. I was told this was normal by several people but I too came here to get the opinion of others.
I feel more comfortable knowing I'm not the only one heh... |

| Flaking and peeling is a normal part of the healing process. Did it bleed in the area it happened? |

| no it didn't bleed...just like a layer of colored skin it looked like came off on the wahcloth |

| exactly what happened to me. At this point I think the entire first layer of skin has come off of my tattoo, but it appears nothing else has come off. If mine has done just this with sunburn I'd say yours is going to be just fine. |

| lol, you aren't in that boat alone. I was freaking out. I think it's because I was told that it would flake, but I wasn't expecting colored pieces of skin to come off. I do think there are a couple small places I will want touched up, but all in all most of it (at this point), seems to be okay. |

that s really cute, but I can understand your concern really well
I was really shocked when I saw how much colour came out of my first coloured tattoo after a shower too...
anyhow, the worst things which could happen to you is that you need a touch up...
nothing to worry about

| I have a big colorful backpiece and at the peeling point my bed looked like I spilled fish food all over my sheets. Peelings normal |
