|
I'm 14. My mom recently said that if I find a tattoo I REALLY REALLY like, she knows a guy that can do it for me. So I'm a bit curious of how in-depth a tattoo is.
Does it hurt THAT bad? (How bad did it hurt your first time?)
Do some spots hurt more then others? If so, where does it hurt more?
Does some inks hurt more then other inks? What colors?
Is cleaning it hard?
Is there any other ways of removing it, besides lasers, say if I don't like it later on in life?
I was thinking along the lines of maybe a tribal-ey kind of tattoo, probably on my back, either lower or mid-back preferrably. Probably a smaller sized tattoo. Hoping for black or maybe white, depending on that kind of tattoo I get.
If anybody can help me out, that'd be great. Thanks alot! |

If I were Bolfwad I would probably say something like "get lost kid" or that you're too young because your balls have'nt dropped yet like his did a LOOOOOOOng time ago. But to tell you the truth, NO tattoo DOES"NT hurt! It resembles a sensation some thing like a bee sting or a cigarette burn, but once the outline is done, it tends to turn kinda numb and a little more irritating than painful. But if I were you I would consider the fact that you may not be full grown physically yet. For example, you might get a tattoo on your bicep, and a few years from now it may end up half way between your armpit and your shoulder! Anyways, tattoos do hurt, some more than others. If the skin that you are getting is used to getting sun, such as the outside of your arm, it will be tougher and probably won't be as painful. But, if you get it where the skin is fair, such as the inside of your arm, it will probably be sensitive and more painful.
Your artist should give you aftercare advice. It's easy to take care of a new tattoo.
If you are already thinking about lasering it off,Don't even get it!
Either way, if you decide to get a tattoo, and go through the time and pain that it takes to get one, then you would have earned the right wear it no matter how old you are! |

| If I were 4skinlover, i would pretend I was a tattooist, and had a clue, give you advise based on my couple months of scratching with no sterilization equipment, and make a few childish insults that illustrated my ignorance for all to see. |

LOL, now that's funny! The 4skinlover thing is right on the money considering the fact that I'm a female! Sorry for doing your REAL job for you, but you're by far, not the only "character" that has any experience. Can you prove me wrong on the above "fore"mentioned?
Oh yeah, advice is spelled wit a "c" not an "s"! |

Male or female, you are a disgrace and embarrassment to either.
Scratchers are scratchers, either way. Filth is filth. |

Yes, your entire statement was incorrect. I have answered these questions many times here.
Pain and pleasure are relative to the individual. You stated that "no tattoo doesn't hurt". That is wrong. There are many people who have reconciled the duality of pain and pleasure, and do not experience "hurt" from a procedure such as a tattoo.
There is no real tangible item known as pain. There is sensation, and there is your personal perception of that sensation. One person can derive intense pain from having a tattoo, and others can derive intense pleasure.
There are also many other variables...such as, is the tattoo being done by a scratcher like you in an unclean atmosphere at their trailer, with instruments they cannot validate are sterile, and have no idea of proper technique, or is it an actual tattooist doing the work...someone who knows what they are doing?
You are wrong as usual.
Keep trying...and thank you for helping me show your ignorance. You are doing a splendid job. |

Yea, pain depends on who you are and how bad you want your ink. But you are 14, I don't even know if you are finished growing physically yet. That could have an effect on how nice your tattoo looks.
badwolf: could you email me a brand name of a good oil to mix with the shea butter? After this shading, the regular stuff is really uncomfortable to put on because of the scabbing. mobsix@gmail.com
thanks dude |

i found that some of the more "tender" places are the inside of the top your arm... and oddly the farther away from my spine i get the more sore they become... and the stomach... kinda tickles...lol _________________ Tragidy Strikes With Another D3adKl0wn |

anyway. it really fucking hurt, more than my arms. i know everyone has a different pain thresh hold blahblah. but is that a painful place, or am i just a pussy? |

1. No… Some places hurt more then others
2. YUP... The most painful places for tattoos for MOST people are the neck, stomach, side/mid section, under arm/armpit, and feet.
3. No
4. No, just look around for proper cleaning procedures.
5. Nope, you can cover it up. Lasers hurt even more and take SEVERAL sessions. _________________

so dunce comes on here asking questions, and the first thing that 4leafclover can do is bash BadWolf! Yet the first thing I see is a 14 yr. old kid asking about getting ink from someone who his mom knows.
First off dunce, if you have, what you think to be the right tattoo design, you should pin it up to a cork board and see if you like it when you get older.....not to say that you don't think the design you picked out isn't still going to be the one you want in 3 to 4 yrs. Like to hear it or not, if your mom knows someone that will tattoo you before you body is even done growing, and at your age, a bad tattoo is the last thing you have to worry about taking home with you. Noone like to be told to wait, especially when your in your early teenage years, but why get a tattoo now, that has a chance to distort when you stop growing. |
