has anyone tried those new spray on bandaids to aid the healing process of your tattoo? The layer protects from dirt and bacteria and allows breathing.

also are there any warnings against using antibacterial gel on a healing tattoo?

thanks for yoru time...

A tattoo really doesn't need to be bandaged, so a bandage of any kind (spray on or otherwise) isn't really an issue. The two things it needs is:
Cleaned regularly and moisturized. Beyond that, anyone in good enough physical condition to even be tattooed should have no problem healing a tattoo with no major complications. In my experience, the more frills you throw into the mix, the more problems you might have.

I've used antibacterial soap on my tattoos after I had them done, just when I was in the shower instead of normal soap, because its better, and Ive never had any problems with my tattoos.

since this got bumped up, i'll comment...

i wouldn't use a spray on or liquid bandaid, simply because of the removal of the product, most of them you have to actually rub them off with alcohol. plus the hold in infection REALLY well, i had a cut that got really badly infected due to using the liquid type...
