Just couldn't believe it when I heard about it. Think about this though (if it hasn't been discussed already, I'm new to the site lol)...one of the students survived the Columbine mess and now survived this. If she isn't completely bonkers by now I can see some laws on the horizon...

Frankly Im a little turned on  Anyways...
I agree with most of what Stephenoid and Evil Jay said. There is no way to contain the real-life psychos out there when they do something like this. I remember the amish school thing. And Jeffery Dalmer. And Columbine, 9/11, oklahoma city... down to the 'local' news of a woman putting 2 of her kids in a dryer and the other in the washing machine killing them all. What can you do? Take away our defenses so we have to swat at them with frying pans like Tom and Jerry cartoon? Even if they somehow got rid of all the guns, these sick fvckers would still find a way to do it. They'd just use samarai swords (really happened) and ice picks (also happened) or something else their cespool of a mind can imagine. Just because they happen to use a pistol doesnt mean we all cant be trusted as a group. It would be like saying all mexicans want to hop the fence illegally to come to the US to hatch a litter. Or all blacks like fried chicken and corn bread (if thats the case Im black). Anyways they DO need to stop glorifying these animals. On CNN they actually showed the videotape he made... repeatedly! Then they read some of his letter and how it stated the names of the columbine killers and how he praised them. Now that my friends is part of the problem. Someone wrote how they do it for attention, and theyre right. If this guy haddent done this NOBODY would remember him. Now the world knows him. *tsk tsk* media. Youre reporting news to make more news.

Yeah, but I was worried about the blow hole...they need that to breath! You know, Kraken doesn't post anymore, maybe you can use his hampsters.....
I figure we are all pretty much screwed anyway we go. If a person has a weapon or news coverage are mute points. Even if a person shows 'signs' of being crazy, there is not a lot we can do till they flip out-- if they dont want therapy it wont help. I just try to live the best I can today, cause its a 50/50 chance I wont be here tomorrow. |
