|
|
Good evening,
There is a specific symbol i am looking for but i cant find.
for those who watch miami ink, this tattoo was seen as a center peice of a huge cross done on the back of a really tall guy.
it stood for only god can judge, and i think he refered it as a warlock/worlock, or something of that sort.
im just looking if anyone knows exactly what im talking about and if they can find a picture.
thanks |

Did you want this as a tattoo?
A symbol you don't even know how to find on your own?
A symbol you don't even know the name of? Or the alchemy used to produce the symbol?
All I'm sayin' is: Research, research, research.
No one is doing you any favors by handing it to you.
If that was the interpretation they gave, I doubt they had a clue, either. |

If it was an EGYPTIAN SYMBOL on a CROSS, I doubt they had the meaning anywhere near accurate.
Egyptian symbols were not designed by Christians, and although both are based on Sun/son worshipping cult ideology, they are very unique from one another with different symbolism. |

The closest thing to a cross that Egyptians used is an Ankh...which is not a cross. It is a symbol meaning LIFE, and is made up of the following alchemical equasion:
An upper curve and bars representing the legs and womb of a female, and a lower staff representing the phallus of a male.
It is a picture of FUCKING. |

| Gotta be careful about tossing established symbolism around. Apparantly that's another thing the folks from Miami Ink aren't up to speed on, if it was indeed an Egyptian symbol on a cross. |

I hate to say this, but I am getting totally sick of this bullshit. I am done with it. This Miami ink hack shit has got to stop soon or the real “in the trench tattoo artists” are going to go nuts.
Just go to the guy that is going to stab you and ask to see the shit he has for Egyptian pictures. If he doesn’t have it… describe it. I know that I for one am getting sick of hearing about those people in Miami every day. Kat aside, these guys can’t tattoo their way out of a paper bag. They are either has-beens or wannabe’s. I know plenty of tattoo artists that are better than these guys. These people get a bit of face-time on TV and all of a sudden they are gods that get paid too much for the shit work they put out.
If I have pulled half the shit they do all the time, I would have my license pulled years ago. Here is an example or two…
Tattoo Parties.
Substandard clothing... what happens if he drops his tattoo machine while wearing shorts.
Doing set-ups “sometimes” without gloves.
Cross contamination every time the tattoo.
The girl “excluding a few choice mistakes” is the only one that actually knows how to use that “thingy” in her hand.
The major problem is this, for every episode of Miami ink there is another scratcher working in my town. We have had people put in hospitals because someone saw it done on TV and said “Hey I can do that.”, and opened up at home. These people may have made tattooing mainstream but they are hurting the industry every time it airs.
This is my opinion, I could be wrong.

Yep...I am starting a new rule today...if you mention Miami Ink in my studio, the price doubles. No, If's, and's or but's.
If you like 'em so damn much, go there. Leave me alone. |

ugh Amen! The other day I was talking to a friend of mine about my upcoming tattoo and she was saying "Oh man if I get a tattoo I'm gonna take a trip to Miami to get tattooed by Ami James" I asked her why and she said "because he is hot!" .......... I smacked her.
The show has helped to put tattooing out there, in people's faces, and show another side to it. But at the same time, the could have picked people with REAL talent and people who actually followed the basic freaking rules when it comes to safety. BAG YOUR MACHINES dumbasses. DO NOT TOUCH SOMEONE's FRESH TATTOO with your BARE HAND. *sigh* |

I just made the sign:
WARNING!!
If you insist upon discussing "Miami Ink" or "Inked", there will be an additional $100 charge.
This is known as an "annoyance tax".
Thank you!
It is now hanging in plain view in my tattoo room. |

| You are going to have to change your avatar BadWolf. Every time I read you all I hear is the voice of teen-vixen. That or go the whole hog and change your name to BadFox. |

That's Little Red Ridinghood!
I ate her granny. (she was a bit dry, but once I found the right spot, she seemed to enjoy it)
Next, I'm gonna eat my way up Red's legs! |

What the hell did you expect??
"I want one of those things from Egypt that I saw on Miami Ink...I have no clue what it is, or what it's called, so can you tell me where to find it?"
"Sure, Sport! Lemme just pull out my fuckin' CRYSTAL BALL...JUST FOR YOU!"
C'mon. Think about it.
I'm not trying to be mean...cuz I'm never mean....
but just THINK ABOUT IT.
Did you not get the answer you solicited? |
