| could be a number of things. Dunno what he/she is putting on it, how many times a day, what kind of soap are they using, how many time a day,was it professionally done, is it only around one part of the tattoo, or all of it, are they using anything else on their skin that maybe getting onto the fresh tattoo? All of these things matter. I would say, it would be best for them to go back to their artist and show them. They should be able to help your friend with this. |

I had this happen to me with one of my pieces. it was because i was allergic to the ointment i was trying out. This could be your problem.

| You should also be aware that these red marks could be an infection that is spreading. If the redness continues to "grow" outward from the tattoo then go see a doctor immediately! You may need a shot to fend off the infection. |

| a friend of mine got these red dots all over his tattoo... but he was under the sun and put sunblock on. We all thought it was because of that... plus heat and sweat. Because, once he stopped and avoided the sun... it got better. |

So I'm at the end of my two weeks when I first got my tattoo. It's been healing nicely (I think). There are some spots where the scabs are that hurt most. Its right above my ankle on the inside of my right leg. Anyways so the other day I got this bug bite right next to the frikkin tattoo... now my leg is hurting again and I have this huge welt and my leg muscle hurts where the welt is at and around the welt.
What can you recommend, and will this pose any infection problems with my tattoo. I've only had about 2 good days with no problems or pain from this tattoo.... |
