But I can still look at it!
If I was him I'd rather poke my eyes out then to ever look at it again
This tattoo looks the way a tattoo would look like if I did it. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be an amazing artist but when I see this it just reminds me of my drawing skills |

No kidding! If people want to hear about god, they'll go to church! they shouldn't have to be forced to listen to that, at the same time they're receiving a craptacular tattoo.
this is my favorite biography from that page:
"My name is Michael. I love art. I have been a scratcher since I was about 14 and wanted to tattoo. At 17 I decided that tattoo artist are douchebags and gave up. A couple of years later, after a lot of arguing, someone talked me into going to church. I went from hating God, to getting saved and baptized in a few months. I went to a class, and they said not to change who I was, because God made me who I was for a reason. I decided to use what was not used to help kids in bad situations. They skateboarded, I skateboarded. So I used that as a bridge. Then through a skate competition my church put on, I met Jamie. To make a long story shorter, he tattooed--I always wanted to. I can break the stereotype, it's a bridge. I think this business sucks, so I want to change that." |

Of course someone who knows bad tattoo work would leave there post haste and go to another shop, but what I was saying was that when the whole shop has poor quality of artistic ability then how are the uneducated customers going to know which artist in this shop to go to? Since they all (the arteests) have portfolios of oblivious victims, I'm assuming that they get many uneducated customers regularly and they all produce poor quality tattoos ad nauseum.
Like I said, these guys are better salesmen than craftsmen and a good sales pitch can lead to any sucker buying something they really don't need...that and the lure of a 'bargain.' Quality shops let their work speak for themselves rather than preying on these poor mooks! |

Rule of thumb for ANY person spending over 100 bucks should be research. I totally understand about spontaneous clients and what not but even then, in most small cities and towns even have multiple tattoo shops. Even when I was a kid I didn't buy my new shoes at the first store I seen them in? Maybe it's just how my friends and I were raised...?
Hell, I know good work now and still like to check out more and more and more and more artists. Every artist has there nitch and finding a great artist witht he nitch you want is KEY to an amazing tattoo. _________________
