hmm, mine was black when I got it.. and now its a dark blue
..mabye its the mix of colors to make black, perhaps if its lighter on one color or the other, when it fades it shows the heavier color. *shrugs*
Of course, I am not a tattooist (sp), I am just a painter, and in painting you have to mix colors to get black, I imagine it would be similar in ink though.

But why should it be a secret?kohlhaas wrote:^ I'm pretty sure that shouldn't be posted in a public forum. Nobody needs to know what kind of black their artist uses... it should suffice to look at their portfolios and talk to them about it.
I am an artist too -- a saxophone player. If somebody asks me about my equipment, I answer their question. If someone asks me what I play over a certain chord progression, I explain it the best way I know how.
What makes me able to do what I do has nothing to do with my tools, but everything to do with my mind, body, soul and the dedication and time I've invested in my craft.
In the end there is no magic pill.
Yes, but on this forum we don't do product or manufacturer placement or technical advise for ANY tattoo supplies/techniques, except in the artist forum.
Like what?
Gotcha!
