OK first off let me put this out there, if you are one of those people who who gets angry when other people ask for help with tattoo ideas then just exit now plz. I am a non artistic person lookin for some help with ideas. I am wanting to get a tattoo for my family, I was thinking some kind of guardian or something I'm not sure. I am also trying to dream up a creation for my two very dear to me friends who were killed in Iraq. I asked before for some help with this idea but I need some more input. So ne one with any idea what so ever leave it I can use all the ideas out there. Thanks

I would recomend separating the two. They have nothing two do with each other, tow completely separate "meanings" and it kind of takes away from the "for my freinds that died" AND my family... Just my opinion...

If you separate them, designing the two tattoos has a million posibilites...

Yeah, I second that thought to seperate them into two seperate tattoos, if not three.

As for the ideas... We don't know your family and we don't know you or your friends, so its impossible to recommend anything. What do you think of when you think of your family and your friends? What would make you remember them? How would you like to memorialize them? These are questions only you can answer.

2 separate tattoos.

For your friends in iraq just get one of these for each fallen friend:

Get whatever tattoo you really want. You'll always think of your 'lost friends' and 'loving family' because you'll remember the sentiment that allowed brought you to deciding to get the ink anyway.

...within reason of course. You can get pictures of a bunch of bubbles and you'll always remember that point in your life when you got the tattoo...

Don't over-analyze. FWIW, Van Gogh once said, "Exaggerate the essence, let the obvious be vague."
