Here is my first piece (pics about an hour after). Obivoulsy my family crest. I am 'happy' with the way it came out overall, but looking back I would like some more artistic detail.
My next one will be a reward for some fitness goals, so hopefully by the fall I will have it. I also want to wait to be sure this is what I really want. Now that I have this, I wanted to cover up my whole shoulder above the sleeve line, but will need to think about how this could be integrated into other images. _________________ "Just because I am paranoid, doesn't mean they aren;t after me" - Someone

| i think a tattoo like that would have deserved way more details. It's ok, but the coloring is really not top notch. I think your artist could work on the shading a little bit more. |

Perhaps if I found a better artist, could they add more detail? I actually like the simplicity a bit but agree on the shading.
I was a rookie (still am), what can I say. This site is great though. I think my mission over the next few months will be to find a great artist in Mass. _________________ "Just because I am paranoid, doesn't mean they aren;t after me" - Someone |

Heh. Oh man... here it comes!!! You are gonna have the NSA after me. I am so depressed now. I hope I can find someone to spice it up a bit.
And he is a swordsman and Scot. Call him anything but a member of Al-qaeda |

The problem is, I can see why you see that in the image. Maybe I should get that claymore turned into an RPG?
I'm just fooling on 'hating' everyone. I don't really. I am just upset that my first tattoo could have been so much better. I wish I had researched more. I posted knowing that folks would comment. I am the only one who needs to like it, and I do. I am glad to have found this place now as none of my friends or family have tattoos.
I spoke with a co-worker who has an artisit in Southern Mass. who she thinks can liven it up. |

if you like it, then it all works out ! I think you will discover that tattoos are much more than you think they are....by that, I mean that you get to learn and learn and learn about tattoos. Some of us spend a good amount in shops, and we can immediately spot all the flaws in a tattoo. I dont think there is such thing as a perfect tattoo either.
So don't worry, because if you listen to us and learn more about tats, the second one will be that much better and so forth and so on. |

| Definately bring it to another artist to see what can be done. It obviously means a lot to you so its worth it. |
