| Hey guys i have been drawing for a little while now and want to move on to tattoos my question is b4 i actually give a tattoo what would be a good starter kit...and what could i practice on....right now im using my dads gun and a orange but i heard to get skin layers down right and so fourth use a turkey......wondering ne truth in this.......ne help in this would be appreciated!! |

| The only way to get any good at this is to practice on live pitbulls. The meaner they are, the more like human skin they are. So, I strongly suggest you go around poking the most vicious pitbulls you can find with needles. Otherwise, you are just wasting your time. |

| i am goin today to a local studio in town the people who did my gf's and my tat2's the best artist there is thinking of given me one but im not prepared i have a portfolio together but its just like celtic stuff a drawin of a tiger a grim reaper and some smal tribal and so forth ne suggestion on what else i need in there? |

If you are not impressed with your portfolio, and don't know how to make it better, SHOULDN'T THAT TELL YOU SOMETHING?
Not trying to b e rude, but NOT EVERYONE is supposed to be a tattoo artist just because a few lackies got a television show. I used to work on a golf course...and I sucked at it...so I quit. |

| im very proud of my work and tat2 srtist have been in my family forever g-pa dad uncle cousins and im very good at what i do.....im great at some things ......but i dont know what an artist besides my family would look for in portfolio......as far as do i need lettering and like drawings of fads like tribal here......what would u be lookin for in a portfolio if u had a aprentice? |
