this is what i have drawn so far but was told it was only about 2 hours worth of work. I was considering this to be a 1/4 sleeve piece and having something wrap around to go to my left back. Any feedback appreciated.

I don't understand why it has to be 6 hours worth of work? If it's what you want and it's only 2 hours worth of work, that just means it'll be cheaper for you to get it.

To me, the image up there reads more as a "background" to a large piece than as alarge piece itself. I guess that the Big star is the main focal point, with the smaller stars acting as secondary points, but, to me, it just isn't saying much.

Anywho, regardless, with a wind/clouds theme, you could EASILY continue the design and turn it into a quarter or even a half sleeve, no sweat.

One of my first tattoos was a similar kind of theme, I wanted to put blue clouds with negative stars around my first one...

But it was done shitly, so it lacked depth so I had to get it covered up...

And then i made the mistake of adding red sun rays...Now it looks like an american flag...which is a problem for me considering i'm british. So don't do that haha. Now i have to get more done to re-work the red and add in more colour and black stars to stop it looking like the stars and stripes!

LDN - Have you finished your chestpiece yet? If not, when will you? I'm looking forward to the finished result. Smile

I don't understand the 6 hours of ink part either. Did it take you 6 hours to draw it up so you figure it will take that long to tattoo? If thats the design you want then 2 hours sounds fine to me, I'd take 2 hours over 6 any day.

LDN - That chest piece is looking good cant wait to see it coloured

Right well might as well fill this with lots of nice pictures so i'll make it a long post :p

This was the original design drawn up, unfortunately i'm quite short so there wasn't that much chest space to work with so it had to be all cramped in a bit more to fit.

Then there was the first 2 sides which you guys have seen, which was 3 hours, then the next 3 hours i got the radio lined and shaded and the right side shaded. Spent about an hour shading on that radio right on the fucking centre of my chest, i can tell you that was not a happy time for me!

Then i was going to only do another 3 hours and finish all the shading and start the colouring...but after about hour and a half the shading was done... (I bleed quite a bit)

So we decided to just go for it and I would take as much as I could, so got the colour pretty much finished within 5 hours...

(The radio looks squashed cause of having to hold the camera)

Anyways, basically it still needs touching up, theres some little zap bolts to come off the antennae, the red needs working over as three roses are all different shades at the moment, but unfortunately my artist is now in your lovely country on warped tour with his band, and I don't think i'll be able to get him to do the touch up now they've got a million pound record deal haha.

This is healed...

All done by Frank Carter, formerly of Frith Street, London (www.myspace.com/frankxcarter)
And his band if you're interested (www.myspace.com/gallows)
