I do not know a soul here after 2 months, I am starting to think that I am in Hell. I actually moved to Shawnee, KS for my husband's new job. I have 5 tattoos, hope to get more, but don't want to travel back to Philly every friggin time I want one. Looking for "normal" people to talk to and meet. I am in search of a great artist and a cool shop to go to. Any suggestions?
I have noticed hostility on this forum towards new people. Please be "somewhat" nice. I don't know if I can take anymore "rudeness" from locals here in the Midwest. I never knew that it would be THIS much different than the east coast, but I want to give it a chance. |

I am reading away, while I should be working. No, I am not an ass, but will speak my mind. I have been trying to post pics, but my work PC is having Flash issues, so I will try later at home. It's a bitch trying to get a pic down to 120x120 pixels for my Avatar. I will look like a speck when I eventually do get it up there.
I just want to "talk" to some open minded people that won't look at me like I am a freak. You would think that these people have never seen a woman with a tattoo....
Oh, in case anyone cares, I am 35 and also a public health grad student.
