I'm at a 12g now and I want to go down to a 10g. I'm using circular barbells. In my left ear the ring goes in perfectly fine. No pain, no discomfort at all. But my right ear I can't get in past where the ball screws on no matter how hard I try. I don't want to force it cause I don't want my lobe to rip or cause a blowout. (I think I might have caused a tiny one already though.) I've tried to stretch them 3 times with about 2 weeks between each try. The right ear just won't stretch. What should I do?

are you using anything with a gradient to it's width? like a spike? I had 12 in my lip took it to a 10, it's quite a difference. You need to do it, like any other size, carefully. (I ended up dropping my lip down to 14 due to lack of jewelry available) My hubby suggests massaging the area before trying to put anything in, get that tissue warm and relaxed. If your using what I think you are, jewelry wise, I think your asking for trouble.

I just recently went from a 2 to a 0, and that was the most difficult by far. You know what works wonders? It sounds gay, but vasolene! My friend told me to try that and ever since then, its been sooo easy. Im hoping to get to 5/8ths by Next January. Dont rush it either, you can cause a blow out. If theres anything else I can help you out with just let me know.

i know it sounds really bad, but the times I didnt feel anything were the times when I was dead fucking drunk. The next morning was another story tho....

have a hot shower and use lube, the heat will soften your skin up.

if there IS a blowout downsize and soak the ear as much as possible, their nasty and wont go away on their own.

I stretched my septum from 8g to 6g a while back and it wasnt too bad with that method (and I used a double flared septum spike so the area I had to push throught he piercing was atleast 1mm larger than 6g)

goodluck.

First of all, I'm not getting drunk. I'm 15 and I'm not into that shit.

Second, the vaseline didn't work.... I sat there with it for about a half hour trying to get it to go through but it just wouldn't. I'm so frustrated... any other suggestions?

I told u how to do it; open your eyes dumb fuck.

oh and dont use vaseline: its oil based - you want a water based lubricant (oil based leaves residue inside your ear and is dirty / causes problems)

goodluck tard.

Is the jewelry externally threaded? That might be causing problems. I've had some trouble with that before.

Yeah, stop that shit right now. Those rip up your ears like fuck if you're doing it without the help of a piercer.
Get internally threaded stuff and save yourself hte scar tissue.

get tapered circular horns.
i got a pack of junk from Hot Topic.
it had a pair of standard captive bead rings, a pair of rings with the two beads, and a pair of curved horns that were held in place with little orings.
it cost me about $15 and lasted until i lost them all.
