| I know this subject might have been brought up before but I am going to take a stab at it anyways. I have been thinking about getting a vertical clitoral hood piercing for a while now. I have done some reading on it and looked up all different ways of piercings down there and this is the one for me. I have a few questions though. They say the skin that is pierced through for a VCH is very thin, thinner than your ear lobes. Is the jewelry rejection percentage higher because of this? Also, I have heard that after a while your clit looses sensitivity. It this true? Cause that would be pretty shitty. Thanks for the help. |

Glad you posted this..I was wondering how Danger girls piercing was doing.
I have no idea what the rejection rate is, but I would say that loss of clit stimulation would be more than shitty! Each person is different. Some chicks get off every time they cross their legs, others don't feel anything at all. It is just one of those things you have to try to find out where you fall. Yeah, there are cases of stimulation loss..but I believe its more of a rarity than a normality.
The other point that should be made is if you decide to go with this piercing, make sure the piercist uses a tube, not just a needle.
You have checked out BME for the personal stories, right? |

Yeah, that's actually where I started. And I will make sure they use a tube. I remember reading about that. Thanks for the help. I will probably do it within the next week if I muster up the courage. |

the rejection rate is pretty low, most people get increased sensitivity but not all.
they heal quickly and are a great piercing, iv got my PA done and its awesome.
goodluck, feel free to pm me questions as I have a few close friends with it done. _________________

I dated a guy with a PA piercing and I always made him take it out b/c I was scared it would make it more likely for the condom to break & he couldn't really answer that question? Do you know if that's true or was I just being a pain in the ass for no good reason? (This was awhile ago BTW) |

from what iv read the risk is heightened but iv had mine for ~18months and have sex regularly without a single breakage: I wear an 8gauge CBR in mine.
also use those condoms with the "larger head" area (often called "extra stimulation" or something along those lines) if your woried about breakages as the friction gets spread over the area better.
atleast thats how it was explained to me. _________________

My VCH piercing has healed great, I changed to a much shorter bar two weeks after the piercing and it feels more comfortable. I prefer a curved barbell to a ring. I also had mine done with Titanium because it's lighter than stainless steel. It's a metallic pale blue, looks really pretty I think.
Have been thinking about getting a Christina piercing now - my first choice initially. Anyone here have one ? _________________ "Ink to paper is thoughtful

AND ... it healed much faster than a belly piercing, BTW. Two days later I tried it out ... _________________ "Ink to paper is thoughtful

Holy thread resurrection, Batman!
I thought I could add to this topic.
I've had my VCH since 2005 and love it! It looks great and I have had no sensitivity problems. It actually enhances things. I do know that you much research who is going to do your piercing or otherwise you will just end up with something pretty down there and not get the full benefits if they don't know what they are doing.
I scoured the web and found Elayne Angel and drove five hours to have her do my piercing. This was when she was in New Orleans (pre Katrina). My only regret was not doing it sooner. The healing time was extremely quick and the pain was over as soon as the needle went through.
If you are thinking about this one, do your research and go for it! |

Well, I've had my Christina for around 5 or 6 weeks now and I still love it. It's healed well and faster than I thought. This is more for aesthetics though, compared to a VCH. _________________ "Ink to paper is thoughtful

Do you have the Christina coupled with the VCH? How does that work exactly?
I've considered getting a Triangle, but since Elayne is in Mexico now, I'm not sure I trust just anyone to do something that invasive.
Edited to add: I looked it up. Interesting. Any healing/rejection issues with it being a surface piercing? |

Yeah I have both a Christina and a VCH. My piercer said some people reject Christina's after a while because it's a surface piercing but mine seems to be doing ok. It's also got to do with your "build" cause on some people it's not suitable - she's done quite a few of them and told me it should be ok.
I think it looks so pretty, so even if it only lasts for a few months I'm glad I gave it a try. _________________ "Ink to paper is thoughtful

BTW, I had thought of doing a triangle piercing before I had the Christina done, but have been told it's much more risky with nerve damage if done incorrectly - so you MUST find a very experienced piercer if you want to tackle that type of piercing. _________________ "Ink to paper is thoughtful
