| I am about to get my first tattoo and I pretty much know what i want, but i dont have a tattoo artist yet and i want to go to the place with the tattoo that i am wanting in hand. Actually, I am wanting to see it drawn out to determine if this is the one i will be happy with. So if there is anyone out there who is willing to draw it out for me....I would greatly appreciate it. If you have yahoo messanger, then im me and i can show you a basic picture of it. |

If you would like to see it drawn out, then go to your tattoo artist and have him/her draw it for you. If a shop can't do a custom design for you, then it's more than likely not a shop you want to go to. Some places have a one or 2 day turn around time on custom pieces, and others will do them for you on the spot. Just look around and see whih stdios in your area are the most proficient at custom work.

| Exactly. Just because you walk in with what you want, does NOT mean they are capable of even remotely pulling it off. The way to see what they are capable of is to have them draw it. Artists will generally draw designs they are capable of translating into a tattoo. If they can't do what you want, you know you can rule them out as a studio you want to have marking your body, perminantly. Going about it any other way, is really a faith-based method of getting tattoos, and in my not so humble opinion, is quite foolish AT BEST. |
