I am going to be getting my first tattoo in a few months, I live in central NJ. If anyone could recommend me any parlors that are clean, quality, reasonable, it would be greatly appreciated.

www.immortalink.com - Chris Adamek does outstanding work and has a solid rep, but he is usually booked for a few months.

www.shotsiestattoo.com - Scotty Lowe is excellent. Shotsie's is closer to North Jersey though.

www.tradewindstattoo.com - I've heard good things about them

Chris at Immortal Ink (shop in Clinton, not Flemington) is the best artist I've seen around here. Problem is he won't be accepting any appointments for another couple months since he gets booked up quickly. But if you really want him, he's worth the wait.

I got my tattoo at Ink Spot West in Greenbrook by Mike. He did a pretty good job, you can check out mine to see if you like his work.

I live in central NJ and chose to go into NYC for my tattoos. Of course, Philly is not that far away either.
