Although I'm not personally a big fan of hearts that aren't old school if you wanted to keep your leg tatt sort of the same idea I think making the black outline bolder and kind of scripty/tribal looking but bold enough that the hearts are basically connecting with the longer lines the scripty/tribal stuff would add (I dunno how to describe it) with maybe some other little black accents around them. Then I'd make the the filling into a purple gradient instead of red and pink.
But that's just if you wanted it to look like the same idea. That's just what popped into my head when I saw it.
As far as the wrist goes I dunno. |

Cover that Russian or whatever language that is with a nice SLEEVE! Go big chickadee! As for the color allergies,i don't know if they have any chems in them that would make you react. And as for being allergic to Tattoo Goo,thats a bad hit because that stuff is lightweight compared to the greases/salves that alot of unknowing artist recommend. There are a few preparations you can make, the recipes being found on here,i think BadWolf is the Homemade aftercare go-to person. And lastly,i'll recommend what i use to ease the drying and healing process.First three days i use Tattoo Majik, then after that i use first pressed, cold pressed goya extra-virgin olive-oil.Believe it or not it works fucking wonders girl.Look at the first ingredient in most all-natural aftercare products.

jeezne would be the pronunciation, but it means life,
i am an associate graphic artist and can't really get a sleeve because of my job.
i wanted it to say "life" because of all the shit i've been through, i got it more as a (then) new appreciation of life.
i know there is no way i can fix it to say the same thing. _________________ chrisinicole |

Your allowed tattoo's on your fingers but not a sleeve? lol :p
I don't see anyway of fixing the hearts without re-doing the red (and infact I'd cover the pink too it's not done properly and makes the overall effect pretty nasty) Red is actually a fairly common colour for people to react to, (in some brands anyway) and generally all you can do is go over it again, you'll get another mild reaction but the colour should stay in. That or go to a different artist. the russian one is fixable, you just need to see an artist thats good with precision work. I doubt anyone could get it perfect but they could make it a shit load cleaner I'm sure. your other option is laser lighten it and start again. _________________ http://badtaste.deviantart.com

Which translates to, "I'm not willing to wear long sleeves at work."

Hard to cover that. A sleeve might distract them. |

What was your "reaction"??? I know you're gonna say that it WAS a "reaction", but most peoples "reaction" is realy just improper aftercare, and I know your gonna tell me that you have xxx number of tattoos and that the other were fine.. blablabla... but every other tattoo you have looks like outline. Healing in a filled in full color peice is much different and much harder healing. Not to mention, you're getting it done on some soft skin there... _________________

lol. i really am an associate graphic artist, i do 2 demensional graphic layout and design and interface graphics for training materials.
the one on my finger and on my wrist are mildly acceptable being that they are pretty modest as long as when i meet with a client i wear a watch, they don't really mind the treble clef.
as far as the reaction goes, i didn't even have long enough for it to be my fault after i got it before it started burning...
it burned, and it hurt to put pressure on, and when standing,
i do have a couple tattoos, but i'm not going to be like "blah blah blah" the other ones healed fine"
because i know i have a lot of line work and that one's all color. i figured it would heal differently, also, i have some skin allergies, and i *think* it was a reaction, i'm pretty sure. _________________ chrisinicole |

| Personally, I don't like tattoo goo. I used it on my first tattoo and although I didn't have an allergic reaction I had more scabbing, longer heal time and needed touching up. |
