| As Jay said big flat areas color are very tricky to heal properly. You really have to baby them and watch them. As magnum said more scabbing and longer healing time with Tattoo Goo which is the last thing you want with solid colors. The first solid color piece I had had to be touched up because I didn't know what I was doing. I put too much crap on it and it scabbed up bad. Anyone here with lots of ink and I said lots of ink will attest that proper healing as an art to itself and it takes awhile to figure out what works for you. My guess is that the ink was not a problem and if it was it was more in the application. It was probably the use of that goo crap in combination with a very touchy tattoo for healing. Four big scabs on your leg would make walking difficult and irritate them plenty. |
