i had asked about covering this tattoo....
i went this weekend to get it covered...
i like the sketchy looking tattoos, i got this as a sort of "school yard" doodle with the "he loves me, he loves me not" idea...
let me know what you think.

I gotta be honest... I'm not feeling it. The cover up is just a crudely drawn black rectangle. It does seem very um... schoolyard. The lower flower looks like the artist kind of forgot to do the other side.

Wow, that is quite possibly the most craptastic tattoo, especially a coverup, that I have seen in a long time. That sucks.. Fuck, the orginial looked better than the coverup. Was this mess done at an actual shop??? Seriously.. You wanted reactions. Mine is one of horror....  |

To me the problem's not that it looks childish, thats obviously what you were going for and thats cool. What i hate about it is the cover up part, its so clear that its covering something and could have been done alot better. good that you like it, thats the important thing but i couldn't live with it.

yeah, it's the same idea, i'd seen some stuff like that before, and i wanted to reference it, but i couldn't think of the name.
if you look at it closer, you can tell it's a simple tattoo that a lot of time and effort was put into, because of the line weights and shapes, everything, it's very much my artistic expression

My opinion #1: It looks EXACTLY like a coverup. It SCREAMS OUT, "There is something I am trying desperately to hide."
My opinion #2: A good coverup NEVER does that.
