I'm a new mother, just gave birth 10 days ago! Ya.
Anyways, I've been trying to come up with some ideas
on my newest tattoo. I have 4 already and this one will
more then likely be my last...or maybe not. they're addicting.
Anyways, Like I said I just gave birth to my first, a beautiful
boy. I wanted to get a tattoo in honor of his birth. My basic
Idea was something that dealt with my flag, and the fathers
flag. I'm Italian his father is puerto rican. Some ideas were to
have the flags twisted up around each other, a mixture of the
two, or just them standing side by side but that's just to plain
and I want it to be the best tattoo I've been given. All of my tattoo's
have a meaning and I don't want to put something on me that
I just didn't like. If anyone has any ideas of how to incorporate
these two together with out them being very plain then please
let me know. Thanks a bunch!

maybe, if you wanted to have the tattoo to have something to do with your child.. incorporating something like.. handprints, or a baby-related item, or something with the flags, or flag designs..
handprints/footprints in the flag design
baby rattle with ribbons with the flags on them..
dunno if thats anything like you'd want, but were some things that popped up in my head

Thanks for some of the ideas, I'm sure I'll be able
to draw some of these up. I thought about the
tattoo w/ the babies feet prints but it seems like
its been done so many times already. But then
again, there is never a match to his foot. I might
try the two flags merging together but the thought
of them being ripped isn't so pleasant to me. It's like
seeing someone with the American flag ripped up, it's
not very welcoming.
The main reason for this tattoo is to incorporate the
two flags since my child will be both puerto rican
and Italian. So the symbolism is both the flags. I'm not
married to him but have been with him for a long time.
Yet im still open to more ideas. If not the flags then
any other ideas that many mean new life (nothing girly though)
I can always add my own artistic twist to it later on.

im no fan of those flag ideas u have. the footprints are alway good for this type of tattoo. u can include a banner with his/her name and date of birth or something.
