hi there,
im only 16 going on 17 in November but i already love tattoos, i am a very good artist in my eyes and i have submited designs to my fathers friend who is a tattoo artist and it seems that my design became a favourite for a few months.
Anyway, my father has told me that if i can find a design that isnt to excesive and not out in the open (ie. forearm, leg, wrist, etc.) then he will allow me to get my first tattoo as a birthday/christmas present. I know what you will all say, "you are to young to be getting tattoos", but i am of legal age to get tattoos so my father is allowing me to get it.
The tattooist is a close family friend, he did my fathers 3/4 tattoos, my mothers dragon which reaches from her chest over her shoulder down her back to her right bum cheek, which took over 6 months to complete and was in excessive of $3500, he also did my sisters 2 tattoos, and my other sisters tattoo, so as you can tell he is a well trusted tattooist.
As this is my first tattoo im looking at getting sumthing simple like the southern cross on my left shoulder blade or on my side somewhere. What i am wondering is if you could not look at me as some teenager who thinks that tattoos are just a cool thing to get and doesnt understand that it is on my body for ever, (but by the amount of ink that is on my families body i think i well understand these factors) and think of me as any other person wanting a tattoo and tell me if you think the southern cross would be a good start.
Attached are the designs i am currently looking at
Regards, Sam

Actually the design sounds nice. If you are into tattoos so much though, I would leave your back alone. I could only see one of the example pics. _________________ I for one welcome our robot overlords. |

I agree. Save that canvas for a full piece. |

Your doomed to get tattooed. Both my parents were alcoholics and I have a fondness for a malt beverage at night. Funny how that works. Get your tattoo. Just becareful where. Not the back and maybe not the ribs either. How big? As big as your examples? I like the idea, it's a clever use of stars. Lot's of coverage with minimal tattooing. But it is going to take up a large area for future tattoos. Just keep that in mind.
Didn't know what it was, I had to google it. I'd make sure to get the seven point stars for the larger four. I kinda like the facets on the video game one below.

I think your tattoo is very nice I have my first one at age 53. its on my left arm its of a half moon with a rose and a peace sign. Its me it fits my personality I am from the peace generation, the rose represents my love for my husband and family and the moon cause I can talk to anyone even the man in the moon! I want to get more but it will be awhile since they are quite $$$sive! Think before you do anymore though cause they will be there forever! cheree _________________ CHEREE 54 |
