I've been thinking of getting one for a while.
Any of you here who have one care to impart some wisdom about it? I mean, there are all these sites talking about how it kills taste buds or fades away after a certain amount of time, but I want some true feedback.
So please help me out:
Do they fade away?
What's the process and aftercare like?
Haha, does it kill taste buds?
And do you know any LA area tattoo artists that have experience with tongue tattoos...for example, who did yours?

im sure they fade just as fast if not faster than inner lip tattoos in like 4 months
and there cant possibly be much after care, use mouthwash>with out alcohol> and dont eat to acidic or sugary even salty foods, and it probably kills just as many taste buds as burning ur tongue does, but they grow back |

A really stupid idea. Absolutely useless for anything but shock value. At least a tongue PIERCING is useful for something.

I dated a girl with one for a while. Honestly, I never really even remembered it was in there. She didnt give very good head anyway, so the peice of metal wasnt going to make it great. I've also had one nighters with chics with them, and again, nothing notable. A girl that knows how to do it doesnt need any gimmicks. Theyre just great.
I've never had mine done, but I can eat pussy like it's my job with my OEM parts.... I don't need any gimmicks either..  |

i guess i could add to this by saying....in 3 words, REALLY, REALLY dumb but that would be redundant....haha....i can't imagine that this would be a good idea at any time....the pain of getting it in the first place would, i think, be substanstial and the healing would be iffy....but my question is WHY would you think to get a tongue tattoo in the first place??? it seems.....ummmm.....stupid, really stupid....
