October 29-31
Austin, Texas Voodoo Tattoo Convention
This should be a good one. I missed it last year, but I won't this year!
How can you go wrong with booths of tattoo artists, custom bikes, porn stars, & skateboard/bmx/motocross exhibitions?
it's at the Convention center. |

I'm hoping to make it to the Boston Tattoo con in September. It's at the Boston center for the arts. _________________ --Jessie

| I will be attending the Old School Tattoo Expo in St. louis on November 10-13. I know I'll get to this one because it's only about a 25 min drive from the shop. Hoping to attend atleast 1 or 2 seminars while I'm there. Never mind learning something new. |

Dumbass question, so I appologize in advance.
How safe is it to get a tattoo at a convention? I've seen pictures online, where a tattoo studio would set up a booth and tattoo from there.
To me it seems a bit unsanitary because of the large amounts of people attending the convention.
I realize that the artist representing their company/shop/whatever is not going to have people stand behind him/her and breathe down their neck, but still, something about getting a tattoo done at a convention seems a bit off to me |

I've been tattooed at several conventions with NO ill effects. But, it is not as safe as a shop... _________________
