I actually have nothing yet, I'm only 17. I'm not getting my hands first, I'm going to get my forearms done. But my hands will be shortly after. I'd like my neck done as well, with my eyelids too. <_<
And my back and chest, and sleeves. I hope to have that all done by the time I'm 20. I'm gonna work in computers so you should be able to have visible tats since its behind the scenes. |

"Should" being the operative word here. Even if it's behind the scenes employers still want you to look professional. You should probably have a real good job with awesome job stability where they don't care before ruining your potential career because you want to be the only guy in your group of friends to have eyeballs tatted on your eyelids so you look awake when you're asleep, that or just be SO good at your job that the company simply can't function without you regardless of what you look like. Just my $.02 |

I'm going to second j250's 2 cents, as he is completely right. By tattooing your eyelids and neck, you may be excluding yourself from a certain group of people that you may one day need to relate to... these people are probably the ones who payed for the computer that you want to work behind.
but i definitely feel you on that dillema bro. I'm a fresh 18, and would love to be all tatted up (forearms/neck), but for now, I'm keepin it under the shirt. |

I'd also like my hands and neck tattooed. But seeing as I have no idea what I'm going to be doing for the rest of my life, I don't know if I'll get it done, and if I do, it'd be a long time from now.

When I go in for the interview I'm going to put the cover up stuff on them and wear long sleeves so none will be visible. ^_^
You see? Thats a great idea. And I can continue to have them covered up for a while and eventually once they are used to me slowly bring them out.
And thats what I'm going to do.
Its alot better to get them young as well. You want them now and pretty much plan on getting them eventually, so just get them now! Worry not.
And put the cover up on when going to the interview and the first few weeks at the job. |
