| i know they turn more of a dingy yellow over time.. but can you tell so much when it's just outlining? is there an alternative, like a peachy white tone, so that it wont look "dirty" over time? |

whats the point of a tattoo if you cant even see it
and if you dont take care of it, it will turn yellowish _________________ www.myspace.com/eulaliatattoo |

| ..because the tattoo is for me, not for everyone else. i would like it on a more visable place (forearm), and i don't want it to affect future job opportunities. |

but you wont even be able to see it
i guess everyone to there own, why dont you just get a tattoo where no one will see it, because of clothing, but you can see it with no clothing _________________ www.myspace.com/eulaliatattoo |

one - many artists will not do this type of tattoo for you.
two - if you do get it done, it is unlikely to stand up to the test of time. you want it to look good for more than a few months, don't you?
my vote is to save your time and money. _________________

We stopped doing them a while back at the shop I work at. Seriously, best case senario, it will look like a varely noticeable scar after a year or 2. They're honestly a waste of tiem and money.
I've gotten better effects doing similar tattoos in light tan and peach, to be honest. _________________ Just a small guy trying to get by... |

it's not an absolute truth that white will start or end looking yellow/dirty. my white ink still looks great after years.
the difference is that:
(1) i'm very pale to begin with so the ink's partial transparency is not much of an issue
(2) i continue to maniacally protect my skin from the sun
(3) my tattoos are not just white; they have a real skeleton with tonal contrast. (this doesn't stop the white from changing but it does allow it to maximize its potential and "pop")
this is why an educated artist and collector can confidently pull off things like this.. .

so it's the same concept with a different color?
iyo how did it look? do you think more artist would be willing to work with those? and lastly (as pointed out by actualfact) would it stand better against the test of time? |
