I am looking for a tattoo that captures the essence of time as I see it, and I've look at different examples on different websites, but I didn't like any of them, so I was wondering if anyone here could help.

well you said "captures the essence of time as I see it" I don't know how you see it.. best bet would be to figure out what you want in it (hourglass, clock, or whatever) to do just that. Then find an artist for it, explain to them what you want and let them design it. You can look up reference pictures and find different things you'd like in it, but to look up pictures, search for just regular pictures. I never really liked the melting clock idea, but I'm going to be waiting a while til I get a tattoo anyway, so I'll just keep looking by myselfishness til then. Thanks everyone who replied!
