LVH, don't feel bad about liking country music. There's some good storytelling in those lyrics. I listen to it from time to time myself.
I've played sax in a country/southern rock band for a while and am thinking I will bo back and play with them some more this fall. It is fun music with a fun crowd and regular gigs! |

I like some classical...no expert by any means, but I appreciate it. My current fixation is on Rachmaninoff and some of the newer contemporary classical stuff like Vanessa Mae.
and Spanish telenovela pop songs _________________

I honestly listen to a bit of everything, here's just SOME of the stuff I like: Julia Nunes, Weezer, Lordi, Missy Elliot, Josh Kelly, Josh Groban, Charlotte Church, blues, Ray Charles, different music from around the world, some Vedic chanting, A7X, Amy Winehouse, All American Rejects, My Chemical Romance, Frank Sinatra, Matisyahu, Larry Lynx, Arabic belly dance songs, The Vandals, Homegrown, Aqua Bats, No Doubt, Our Lady of Peace, fifties and sixties songs, Beach Boys, Flogging Molly, Ludacris, Rammstein, Orgy, Rob Zombie, and much more.
I love alot of different songs that I'm not sure who the artists are, but they're in my ipod. =P I'm open to everything, any genre, and I love to hear about bands or artists other people are into. So if you know any good ones, especially non-mainstream stuff I'd loooove to know! _________________ "I can resist anything, but temptation!" |

I play jazz saxophone and piano...
I know I am bored at work and have nothing to do but post randomly on ET... |
I have eclectic tastes in music, though various types of rock are what I listen to most.
I like jazz as well. Two names that come to mind that most people haven't heard of are St. Germain and Ken Ford. I saw Ken Ford perform live at the Atlanta Aquarium one evening and he was awesome. |
