Can you make these:
and can you explain how you did it?
I've watched youtube videos and attempted to recreate, but I can't get the separation.
I tried using a spoon, the back of the spoon, a ladle, and a cup with holes in the bottom of it....but the two beers always mix together.
Is one Guinness better to use than the other? Extra Stout or Draught?
Would using a Yengleung Lager on the bottom be a problem?
Can you help me? |

| Any reason why the Rolling Rock would work better, or different, than the Yengleung? |

Sectional density.....specific gravity....whatever the fuck you call it.
The light beers have more water than the stout beers (more alcohol) therefore should be more dense and stay on the bottom of the glass better. I'm no scientist, but I've made a few. I would think your shitty light beers like busch/bud light would work even better yet, but maybe not. You just need a really stout beer (less dense), and a really light beer(more dense ((less filling)). That and you need to pour reeeeaaaallllyy slow. That, and try letting it stand for a while. |

The density differences makes sense and it's what I was thinking about.
I'm not a huge fan of Rolling Rock though.
Perhaps I'll get the Harp pale ale or something of that nature.
I had a B&T at a bar where the guy made it with Becks on the bottom. Looked just like the picture I posted.
I'll keep trying....and I'll sacrifice a spoon with the bending of the handle too. I'll also try to let the next attempt sit for a little longer before I start drinking.
Thanks SS.
The best thing about this is the "fuck-ups" still taste really good. |

| Yummy. The true formula is Bass Pale Ale and Guiness Stout. And yes pour it over a spoon. |

Thoughts on temperature differences between the two beers in question?
Guinness a bit warmer than what's on the bottom to help separation? |

| Nah. At the bar usually they are both on tap so the kegs are in the same fridge. |

Makes perfect sense.
I've watched countless youtube videos and can't figure out what I'm not getting.
I can only assume at this point that using Yengleung on the bottom is part of the problem.
My experimentation continues tonight. After a trip to get something else for the "tan" beer. |

Get the Bass Pale Ale. You're using a lager and it calls for an ale.
I was at a friends quite awhile back and she was making them with peach cider and Guinness. She loved them, I didn't try one. But they separated. She had a name she made up for them but I can't remember. |

I make these on occassion for friends, simply because they look cool. The actual taste? I honestly prefer Yeungling's pre-made bottled Black-and-Tan, or just straight Guinness Draught _________________ Just a small guy trying to get by... |

To each his own. I think it tastes great.
I do love the Yeungling B&T too though.
I'm gonna try Yeungling Lager on the bottom again soon. Now that I know to use Guinness Draught. |

1. What the fuck does the turtle do?
2. The turtle looks awesome. I want one just for the looking awesome factor.
3. I admit that I want to know what the turtle does just so I have an excuse to buy one. _________________ Scientists have known that what grows on a gamer's face is different from that of a man's.
