NO TURTLES!
Actually Guinness is supposed to be poured VERY slowly into a glass. Once you can pour a perfect pint of Guinness, you can make a black and tan with no spoon at all (although I usually use a spoon I bent myself to hang on the lip of the glass). I always use Yuengling Lager and Guinness. I never could see the need to spend the extra money on Bass.

there used to be this black and tan called mississippi mud that i used to drink years ago. it came in little moonshine style jugs. best pre mix ever
