These are great bands but I also think the Sex Pistols were Ace.
Each to their own. I'm not trying to say everyone should like the Sex Pistols I'm just saying I do and explaining why I do. If people don't agree then that's their opinion and fair play, we're all different in what we like and dont like and if we weren't then life would be boring wouldnt it??

I'm not saying just coz ur american u like american bands I'm just stating that Black Flag use american slang which I find silly and Americans wouldn't.
Thats my opinion and I am entitled to it and I will always think that Vicious was the best thing ever!! |

I've seen The Filth And The Fury just because I like music docs. But if Rotten was so against the money, why did they re-record Anarchy in the UK to be in Guitar Hero or do that joke of a reunion tour? CASH. Bottom line all the time.

lone-wolf, hate to counter your ethnocentrism, but terms like "Oi!", "Bloke", "Mate", "Bugger", "Nutter", "Bollocks", and "wanker" sound strange to most Americans, catch my drift?
That said, I will admit that there does seem to be a bit more charm to british (paticularly Cockney) slang than American slang.

I see where both CxCx and Lone are coming from. Obviously the American slang will be weird to us Brit’s and the British slang weird to Americans, it’s just the way it is but that shouldn’t stop u liking a band just because they’re from a different place!!!
That’s kinda discrimination against Americans.
But we are totally different in the slang for example “fanny” here in the UK means a woman’s private place if u know what I mean lol and in America it means bottom lol

There's also some crazy fun Scottish slang. That chav dingeed me when I gonnae the store.
